VACATION PACKAGE
Experience Las Vegas and the National Parks of the Southwest
Las Vegas is famous for glittering casinos, high-rolling gamblers, and wild parties. But the area surrounding Sin City — America’s Southwest – features a wealth of deserts and canyon-filled national parks. See the best of both worlds on this vacation package.
You’ll spend each of your five nights in a hotel on the famous Las Vegas Strip, enjoying a personal experience of the legendary Vegas amenities and hospitality. There’s a full free day plus plenty of time each night to experience the city’s resorts, casinos and shopping centers along more than four miles of major world-class properties of The Strip.
“See” the world by visiting France at Paris Las Vegas, Italy at The Venetian, or the Big Apple at New York-New York. Or take in traditional favorites like the big top world of Circus Circus and the old-school retro kitsch of The Flamingo (which opened in 1946). Check out the ferris wheel, the roller coasters, top-name entertainers, and spectacular shows that set the standard for live entertainment.

From Glitzy Excitement to Awesome Natural Wonders
You’ll also take three day trips to four of the most amazing national parks in the world – all a short distance from Las Vegas in Utah, Arizona, and California. We’ll start with breathtaking Grand Canyon – which we’ll first view from a small airplane and then from the ground! Bryce Canyon is known for its unusual spires of orange and reddish rock. Zion National Park, famous for deep sandstone canyons carved by the Virgin River, is located at the junction of the Mojave Desert, the Great Basin, and the Colorado Plateau. Death Valley, the lowest point in the United States, also holds the world record for the highest recorded temperature. While the manmade attractions of Las Vegas can’t be beat, the natural beauty of the surrounding desert and mountains also offer their own unique vistas.
We’ll spend five exciting nights plus one full day in the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” Las Vegas, Nevada. Indulge in the Freemont Street Experience, where more than 17 million visitors each year visit casinos, shops, and 60-plus restaurants. From New York-New York to Circus Circus to Paris Las Vegas, the resorts, gaming venues, and shows are second to none!
The welcome mat is always out when you visit “fabulous” Las Vegas. The gambling opportunities are legendary, with poker and black jack tables, slot machines, and every type of casino games available at several of the world’s top casinos. Don’t forget: “What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas.”
Zion National Park in Utah features mountains, buttes, mesas, rivers, natural arches and canyons. The centerpiece is Zion Canyon, a 15-mile formation that plunges up to half a mile deep through the red Navaho sandstone to the Virgin River. Almost 300 bird species, 75 mammals, and 32 reptiles make their homes in biological zones ranging from desert to woodlands.
This is one of the many dramatic overlooks at Arizona’s Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The Grand Canyon — a gorge of the Colorado River — is the focal point of the second most visited U.S. national park, drawing six million visitors annually. President Theodore Roosevelt called it “the one great sight which every American should see.”
The pristine and colorful vistas of rugged Death Valley, California, are less than two hours from Las Vegas. The Mojave and Colorado deserts in the park are among the hottest places in the world, with Furnace Creek holding the world record of 134 degrees Fahrenheit. Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level.
Colorful Bryce Canyon in southwestern Utah is not really a canyon at all! It is actually a string of giant natural amphitheaters which can be seen from 13 viewpoints. Bryce Canyon National Park is famous for the unusual geological structures known as “hoodoos.” These delicate red, orange, and white rock pinnacles rise up to 200 feet tall, providing spectacular formations amidst the mountains and river beds.
